Understanding Emotions

We explore interoception; the body's ability to send signals that guide actions. Recognising feelings like hunger, sadness, and anger helps individuals respond in a meaningful way.

People with autism may struggle to interpret these signals due to sensory differences, leading to overwhelm or burnout. Therapy helps make sense of these cues and develop effective coping strategies. We also work on noticing tension in the body and learning relaxation techniques.

Nonverbal Communication

Our bodies constantly send signals through posture, facial expressions, and nervous system responses.

Understanding how nonverbal cues impact social interactions can enhance connections and strengthen relationships within social groups.

Reading & Interpreting Others

Learning to recognise and interpret body language, tone of voice, and social cues allows individuals to better understand and engage with those around them.

Conversation & Social Communication

We explore how our brains have evolved for social interaction, helping individuals build confidence in conversations, navigate relationships, and advocate for their needs.
