What Does the Assessment Include?
The Assessment
Our EHCP assessment process is designed to give you clarity and the strongest possible evidence for your child’s needs.
A full case history and review of all existing reports so nothing is missed and every recommendation is grounded in a complete understanding of your child.
Standardised and non‑standardised assessments tailored to your child’s profile, ensuring we capture strengths, needs, and the nuances that generic assessments often overlook.
Functional observation across tasks and contexts, giving a real‑world picture of how your child communicates, learns, and regulates—not just how they perform in a test.
Detailed analysis of speech, language, and social communication, written in clear, parent‑friendly language without jargon.
The Report
A tribunal‑ready report that stands up to scrutiny. Our reports are written to the standard required for legal processes and include:
A precise, evidence‑based description of needs (Section B)
Specific, quantified, and legally enforceable recommendations (Section F)
A clear rationale linking assessment findings to every piece of provision
Language that centres your child and your family’s voice throughout
The Support
Support that goes beyond the report
A dedicated follow‑up call to walk you through the findings, answer questions, and ensure you feel confident about next steps.
Optional attendance at tribunal or professional meetings (additional fee).
Parent coaching through the EHCP or tribunal process, delivered by one of our experienced SENCOs who have insider experience working within multiple local authorities—giving you insight, strategy, and reassurance at every stage.
